About the race

The 5150 Triathlon Series expands to the island of Camiguin, famously known as the 'Island Born of Fire'. This inaugural IRONMAN-branded event is set against a backdrop of dramatic volcanic peaks, white sandbars, and historic landmarks, offering a unique blend of sport, tourism, and cultural discovery in Northern Mindanao.

Athletes will experience a scenic course that begins with a swim near the iconic Sunken Cemetery Monument. The bike leg follows a two-loop route along the island's Circumferential Road, tracing the coastline past the Old Spanish Church Ruins, while the run concludes at the Camiguin Sports Complex, where participants finish on the track oval amidst local community support.

How to get there

Aeroporto di Camiguin (CGM) è a 5km dal centro. Alternativa: Aeroporto di Laguindingan (CGY) a Cagayan de Oro, poi traghetto di 1.5h da Balingoan. Spostamenti sull'isola via multicab, tricycle o noleggio scooter. Parcheggio disponibile presso le aree gara principali; noleggio auto limitato, consigliato prenotare in anticipo.
