About the race
The 54th edition of the Travesía al Dique was held in the waters of the Port of A Coruña, cementing its status as a traditional fixture on the swimming calendar. The event, organized by the Club Natación Coruña with the collaboration of the City Council, the Galician Swimming Federation, and Blue Leaders, brought swimmers together in an atmosphere defined by personal achievement and safety.
The day, which began with cloudy skies that cleared throughout the morning, allowed spectators to follow the race along the Dique. Safety was guaranteed by the Red Cross (Cruz Roja del Mar) and the A Coruña Fire Department's Aquatic Rescue Group, ensuring a smooth event with very few incidents.
