About the race
The Ice Cold Classic at Manly is a sunrise splash held each year on the shortest day of the year. It is a traditional around-the-buoys loop off the main stretch of Manly Beach. It celebrates the grit, the laughs, and the community of ocean swimming, inviting everyone from seasoned surf swimmers to curious first-timers to step outside their comfort zone and into the brisk winter waters.
Course
Starts and finishes on Manly Beach, heading out towards Cabbage Tree Bay and back. Contingency route to Shelly Beach if conditions at Manly are unsafe.
