Part of the New Zealand Ocean Swim Series, the Blue70 Beach to Bay in Russell offers an iconic open water swimming experience. The event features multiple distances suitable for all levels, set in the beautiful coastal environment of the Bay of Islands. It is designed to be an inclusive community event, welcoming swimmers of every ability to enjoy the unique scenery and atmosphere of this historic location.

Nearest airport: Kerikeri (KKE), 45km. Auckland (AKL) is 240km away. To reach Russell from Auckland: car via SH1 and ferry from Opua (15 min). Alternatively, passenger ferry from Paihia. Limited parking in the town center; arriving early or using the peripheral parking areas marked for the event is recommended.
