Traversata del Trentin #2 — Cadrezzate

The area around Cadrezzate features a mix of traditional converted fishermen's cottages and boutique guesthouses located near the harbor, with camping options available closer to the shoreline. Prices typically range from 70 to 150 EUR per night depending on the proximity to the water and the level of service. For those seeking a quieter stay, small family-run B&Bs are tucked into the hills overlooking the lake, providing easy access to the race start area.

The weekend centers on the lake's natural and historical offerings. Visitors often spend time exploring the site of the prehistoric pile dwellings via kayak or SUP to observe the submerged structures from the water. Local trails provide moderate trekking opportunities with views of the surrounding pre-Alpine peaks, while the nearby villages offer small-scale tastings of regional Varese products, including local honeys and artisanal cheeses. The combination of historical site visits and calm-water paddling makes the area a hub for slow-paced outdoor activity.
