About the race
Aquaman Austria makes its debut as part of the iconic Wörthersee Swim Races. Experience world-class open water swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Wörthersee, with scenic alpine views and race categories for swimmers of all levels.
Course
Junior race. Counterclockwise circular course marked with regatta buoys (350m apart). Start and finish at Maiernigg lido.
Butterfly stroke challenge. Counterclockwise circular course marked with regatta buoys (350m apart). Start and finish at Maiernigg lido.
Sprint distance. Counterclockwise circular course marked with regatta buoys (350m apart). Start and finish at Maiernigg lido.
Classic distance. Counterclockwise circular course marked with regatta buoys (350m apart). Start and finish at Maiernigg lido.
Semi-Olympic distance. Counterclockwise circular course marked with regatta buoys (350m apart). Start and finish at Maiernigg lido.
Olympic distance. Two laps of the 5km course. Counterclockwise. Aid station on a floating platform after 6km.
Point-to-point from Velden (Schlosshotel) to Klagenfurt (Maiernigg lido). High difficulty, requires navigation. Four aid stations on support boats.
Ultra-marathon. Start/finish at Maiernigg lido, turnaround at Schlosshotel Velden. Supported by private boat. Mandatory photo proof at turnaround.
